Headlines:
- A tweet mocking Iowans was re-tweeted from the Trump twitter page (try saying that three times fast). Speculation suggests that one of Donald's campaign advisors re-tweeted the tweet, but others claim that Donald Trump's twitter account could have been hacked. Either way, Carson now leads Trump in the polls in the state of Iowa.

Polls:
- As mentioned earlier, Carson now leads Trump in the polls in Iowa. However, Trump still seems to hold a strong lead across the GOP-voting nation.

Future Challenges:
- Carson is hot on Trump's heels. If Donald wants to secure the GOP nomination, he's going to have to ensure that he's the #1 Republican candidate heading into 2016.
Funny interview. Trump almost seems like a politician version of Kanye West, who is always going on about how he is Shakespeare/Picasso in the flesh. Except it seems like everyone hates Kanye for his ego, yet loves Trump for basically the same reason. Weird how much entertainment and politics overlap, especially in what is valued in successful people
ReplyDeleteI personally don't want to see Trump or Carson in office, but you have no idea how happy I am that Carson is catching up. I think of Trump as such a joke and I can't imagine him as our president.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Well, at least Trump can be humorous and confident! Though, I agree with Kathryn. I am very glad to see that Carson is catching up! I would much rather that Trump does not become president. Even though he can make people laugh sometimes I do not think he would be the best president...
