Trump, Baffling Europeans and Americans alike

Europeans from many different parts of Europe are baffled today by the pure fact that Donald Trump is running for president of the United States of America, not to mention that he is actually a leading candidate in the Republican party. People are worried and shocked that Trump is running for president and is serious about it too. Europeans fear that if Trump becomes president he would offend too many world leaders. Many believe that Trump is just someone who seeks attention. Some people go as far to say that Trump could ruin foreigh relations with their country if he was elected president.

  1. I agree that Trump's personality is definitely gonna be a little problematic if he becomes president but I don't think that he'll be a failure. Some of his views might seem extreme, it's true, but looking over his plans for the future, I would say that he doesn't seem to bad.

  2. The thing that I find most depressing about the Trump campaign's success is what it says about the American voters. The fact that a huge portion of Americans think the best candidate for the presidency is someone who will be the (self-proclaimed) "greatest president because he has the most money" is utterly sad. I understand that his popularity is in large part a reaction by people dissatisfied with Obama's relatively ineffective, overly-moderate, and "politician" presidency. But Trump would do exponentially more damage as president of this country than Obama.

  3. I also find it interesting how someone so outspoken has the most popularity of the Republicans. However, I think he's not that bad of a man. He does not try to sugarcoat what he says, even if it might seem a little rough. I don't know that much about him to say whether he would make a good president or not, so I'm excited to read more about him and his campaign.
