One of Donald Trumps most controversial positions deals with Immigration
When Donald Trump first announced that he was running for president, he took the stance that all illegal immigrants need to be deported back into Mexico. He also stated that we need to build a big wall resembling the great wall of China, he joked that it would have a door. According to Donald Trump "They're bringing drugs. They are bringing crime, they're rapists." However, immigration has played a big impact in the United States, causing panic among farmers and employers of the illegal aliens. Also, depression of wages may occur and the biggest problem that Trump deems probable is the high levels of crime that is brought by illegals. Even though Trump's views are extreme, one thing is for sure; he has successfully persuaded many Americans to consider the importance of Immigration policy in America.
I've been told that immigrants have always helped America, and I also believe that America is somewhat of a safe place for people in the world can go to be free. That being said, building a wall would make it seem as if we don't want others to be free, and that makes me dislike Trump.
ReplyDeleteTrumps Idea is good and bad. Its good because yes it will keep off the crimes and the selling of drugs. Its a bad idea because many will get offended and that will cause them to act rebellious and it will just cause more problems.
