For the first time Donald Trump is not  leading in first place in the polls

Carson and Trump have been running consistently neck-and-neck since the start of September -- with other candidates struggling to keep pace. However Donald Trump has been the number one in the polls for the republican party since June. Two polls released Thursday and Friday showed Trump slipping to second place in Iowa with 20% and 19% of support, respectively, while Carson surged to first place with 28% in both polls. Carson won the support of 26% of Republican primary voters, compared to 22% who are backing Trump, according to CBS news/ New York Times. Though within the poll's margin of error, it marks the first time since the billionaire businessman's dominant rise over the summer where he has been bumped from the top spot nationally.

  1. This is actually very interesting to me. These two candidates are very different in personality, their visions, and what they have to offer. It's also very interesting to see how people begin to choose according to what all of the different candidates put out on the table with their campaigns. I think that Carson is moving slowly into the lead because he is doing well in the debates and is providing a most favorable lookout on today's issues.

  2. That is a first in a long time, I thought nobody could beat Trump. But I'm happy Carson rose up and not Trump!
