Week 7: Donald Trump Reporting

Headline:

Trump goes on a 95-minute tirade against Ben Carson, which Carson responded to. The campaign is heating up as the Republican front runners battle for control in the GOP race.

Polls:

The polls have seemed to hold steady, at least for Carson and Trump this last week. Here's an interesting article explaining how Trump is coping with no longer holding a large lead in the GOP race:

No fundraising news, and even considering his 95-minute tirade in Iowa, Trump has not seemed to declare any new positions.

Future Challenges:

Trump will have to battle with Ben Carson these next few weeks if he wants to reclaim the top spot in the GOP race. Trump hasn't offered much in the way of new positions, and I think this strategy will serve him well. If Trump wants to win the primary, he has to maintain his "bad boy" presence by not coming across as nice while convincing voters that he still holds integrity. It'll be an interesting few weeks coming up for Trump, and I'm excited to see how things turn out.

  1. I like how Carson still fought with the media, saying Trump didn't say he was a child molester. That would be the perfect time to strike for Carson. I'm glad to see that Trump is finally losing it, but why did Carson have to be up there.
