Donald Trump's Twitter Lands Him in Hot Water

Donald Trump retweeted an offensive tweet aimed at Jeb Bush. The tweet contained a picture of Bush standing next to a cactus with the caption "Adios, Jeb". What Trump may or may not have realized is that among that picture were several others, one of which a picture of the Bush family next to a photo-shopped swastika. This time, the campaign is not blaming an intern for the retweet, and the retweet was removed from Twitter.

Trump Officially Loses Lead in GOP Polls

As of today, the Real Clear Politics polling average shows Trump in second place behind Ben Carson. Trump lost his lead in Iowa, and today (November 4th) marks the first time that Trump has not only lost his first-place grip on the national GOP rankings in some polls, but the national average from Real Clear Politics, a widely trusted news service that averages various polls during the primary election season.

No news in regards to fundraising or new positions, but Trump seems to be getting meaner in his attacks against other GOP candidates, as observed in last week's debate.

Upcoming Challenges:

Trump has a rough road ahead of him these next few weeks. His campaign is in decline, and if he wants to find a way to win over voters and retake the lead in the GOP, then he's going to have to use very different tactics. These new polls show that slandering the other candidates alone will not be enough for Trump to win the GOP nomination.

    I'm glad Trump is no longer in the lead, but with all the bizarre things Carson has been on about lately, I'm not sure if he's any better.

    Oh boy... Gotta post a comment on trump... *reads article* Yep, figures... *ahem* Ohhh nooo he keeps doing stupid things and attacking other candidates... At least he is declining in polls, but now the mad scientist is rising. Oh well...

    I agree with Kyle, I'm glad Trump's popularity is on the decline, but lately Carson's been pretty crazy as well. Seems like the twitter thing was just a really dumb mistake, though.

    Also agree with Kyle! Carson continues to say and do ridiculous things, I don't want Carson or Trump in office. Not sure who's the lesser evil..

    I am very relieved to see that Trump is no longer in lead! I really don't like how he seems to be bashing other candidates via Twitter. Personally I really don't feel like they need to insult each other during their campaign.

    I'm not suprised he did something dumb lke this... Again. I'm glad Carson has taken the lead, though. Much better than having Trump in my opinion.
