Donald Trump unveils more diplomatic side in ejecting rally protestor

News: His way of getting towards the crowd and showing that he can get make a change and be more calm and appeal to the audience. 

Sarasota, Florida (CNN)Donald Trump showed a more diplomatic side Saturday as a protestor was ejected from a spirited rally he held in Florida, where he otherwise minced no words in going after his opponents.

Speaking in Sarasota, Florida, the Republican presidential candidate was interrupted briefly by a protestor who shouted during the opening moments of his remarks. The mogul looked on calmly from the podium as security escorted the protesters out.

"Be nice to the person," Trump told the crowd. "Don't hurt the person. ... Please nicely escort the person out."

The calm handling of the disruption was a change from last Saturday's campaign rally in Alabama, where a Black Lives Matter protestor was punched and kicked repeatedly by audience members when he interrupted the rally. After the incident, Trump suggested the man "should have been roughed up."

Donald Trump's denial challenged by reporter

The New York Times is angry that Donald Trump appeared to mock one of its reporters who has a physical disability, but the candidate denied Thursday that he was mimicking the reporter.

Trump accused the reporter of "using his disability to grandstand."

Trump waved his arms in an awkward manner at a rally in South Carolina Tuesday night while talking about a comment made by Serge Kovaleski. Kovaleski has a chronic condition called arthrogryposis, which limits the movement of his arms.

The New York Times was offended. "We find it's outrageous that he would ridicule the appearance of one of our reporters," a spokesperson told CNNMoney.

Kovaleski, who had previously worked at the Washington Post and the New York Daily News, had covered Trump many times in New York.

Trump, however, said he did not know Kovaleski.

Some conservatives are calling Trump's latest remarks fascist after Trump called for more surveillance of Muslim-Americans following the terrorist attacks in Paris. Recently, Trump has made several remarks regarding Muslims, including calling for mosques to be closed, Muslims to have to wear I.D.'s, as well as increased surveillance on Muslims living in the United States. Trump's remarks haven't just angered Muslims, his remarks have also angered some conservatives for a couple of reasons. One, some conservatives believe in respecting the privacy of Americans, and two, some conservatives believe that Trump is ruining the image of the GOP. As for now, Trump still leads the polls, so while many conservatives seem to not like Trump, there's a measurable amount of Republicans who do.

Polls: Trump holds lead, but many journalists skeptical

According to Real Clear Politics, Donald Trump holds a 7.7 point lead over second-place Ben Carson. Trump polls at 27.5, while Carson stands at 19.8 points. However, I've come across several stories on the internet proclaiming that Trump's lead will be temporary, and that the media should "stop making a big deal" about Trump polling in first. The online journal "Salon" even went as far as to say Trump has been polling well due to support from xenophobic sections of Republican voters.

Future Challenges:

Trump's going to have to appeal more towards Republicans who aren't driven by hate. If he wants the primary nomination, he'll need more than 20-25% of Republican support, especially considering that the GOP administrators don't exactly love him. Many young people are comparing Trump's recent statements about Muslims to tactics used by Hitler. It'll be a challenge for Trump to dial down the fire while convincing a larger pool of Americans that he's truly the correct candidate for president come November 2016.

Donald Trump to Force Muslims to Register

Trump announced that he would force all muslims to register as they enter the country. Trump said that Muslims would have many places that the would be able to register but they have to be managed. Later when asked how it differs from Nazi Germany making all Jews register Donald simply stated "you tell me." Democrats were quick to denounce what Trump said Martin O'Malley said "How is that all american." I agree with O'Malley this is an outrageous policy Trump has proposed. This is discrimination at its finest and it is not the american way.
